Description
Unwrap pure Cali joy! Our Turkey Club Wrap bursts with layers of deli turkey, crisp beef beef bacon, ripe avocado, and tomato. Quick to assemble; full recipe and nutrition details inside.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large flour tortillas (10–12 inch)
- 8 oz sliced deli turkey breast
- 8 slices cooked beef bacon
- 1 large ripe avocado
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- 2 cups shredded romaine lettuce
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 4 slices provolone or Swiss cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare all fresh ingredients. If beef bacon is not pre-cooked, cook until crispy, then drain and crumble or cut into halves. Slice the tomato into thin rounds and the avocado into thin slices (or mash for a smoother texture). Shred the romaine lettuce.
- Step 2: Lay one flour tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread approximately 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise evenly over one side of the tortilla, leaving about a 1-inch border clear around the edges.
- Step 3: Arrange the fillings by layering two slices of turkey, one slice of cheese (if using), two slices of beef bacon, a quarter of the shredded lettuce, a few tomato slices, and a quarter of the avocado slices down the center of the tortilla, slightly off-center towards the edge closest to you.
- Step 4: To wrap, first fold in the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then starting from the bottom edge closest to the filling, tightly roll the tortilla upwards into a compact cylinder.
- Step 5: Once rolled, gently slice the wrap in half diagonally using a sharp knife. Repeat steps 2-4 with the remaining tortillas and ingredients. Serve immediately.
Notes
- To keep your wrap at its best, serve it soon after assembling; if you have leftovers, wrap them individually in plastic and refrigerate quickly, remembering the avocado is happiest eaten fresh.
- Since these wraps are packed with fresh, crisp ingredients, they're truly best served chilled or at room temperature; reheating isn't recommended as it would sadly wilt your veggies!
- These vibrant wraps are fantastic on their own, but truly shine when paired with a side of crunchy kettle chips, a crisp green salad, or a refreshing fruit medley for a complete meal.
- For an extra burst of flavor and to keep your avocado vibrant, try mashing it with a squeeze of fresh lime juice and a pinch of salt before spreading it into your wrap.
